Considerações sobre observações de pássaros livres na natureza - Considerations for observation and photography of birds free in nature

Não tenho intenção de expor uma preleção sobre métodos de observação de aves. Além de não ser formalmente capacitado, um blog não seria o lugar mais adequado. Entretanto, desde que comecei a fotografar pássaros eu mesmo me pergunto sobre o porque desta atividade que vem se tornando uma "mania" para mim e para outras tantas pessoas.

E a resposta não é simples, pois os motivos devem ser vários. Primeiro vem o contato com a natureza e a oportunidade da observação. Quem não gostar disto, desista! Outro pré requisito é apreciar fotografia e tirar fotografias. Há também a emoção de se encontrar os pássaros, que se forem mais raros ou difíceis de serem observados, maior a emoção e o desejo de registrá-lo em uma boa foto.

Entretanto existe algo mais que me agrada: a oportunidade da descoberta e do aprendizado. Não me refiro exatamente ao simples reconhecimento das aves, mas sim à descoberta e ao aprendizado da própria atividade.

Sábado passado (11/02/2012), um dia nublado, saí com minha câmera para ver se conseguia algumas fotos. Andei por alguns minutos e... nada de interessante. Cheguei a  um aglomerado de árvores e, em um Embauba (Cecropia sp), percebi a presença de Periquitos-de-encontro-amarelo (Brotogeris chiriri) na árvore.

I have no intention of exposing a thesis on methods of birdwatching. Besides not being formally trained, a blog would not be the most suitable place. However, since I started photographing birds I even wonder about why this activity has become a "passion" for me and so many other people.

 And the answer is not simple, because the reasons should be different. First come the contact with nature and the opportunity for observation. Who does not like it, give up! Another prerequisite is to enjoy photography and take pictures. There is also the thrill of finding the birds, which are rare or difficult to be observed, the greater the emotion and the desire to record it in a good photo.

 However there is something else that pleases me: the chance of discovery and learning. I do not mean just about the simple recognition of the birds, but the discovery and learning activity itself.

 Last Saturday (02.11.2012), a cloudy day, I left with my camera to see if I could some photos. I walked for a few minutes and ... nothing interesting. I came to a clump of trees, and an Cecropia tree(Cecropia sp), I noticed the presence of Yellow-chevroned Parakeet (Brotogeris chiriri) in the tree.

E o quê ele estava fazendo? And what was it doing?

Pouco depois, descobri que os periquitos não estavam sozinhos, mas este assunto terá que ficar para amanhã...

Sinto mas tenho que ir.

Shortly after, I discovered that the parakeets were not alone, but this matter will have to be for tomorrow ...
