Gibão-de-Couro (Hirundinea ferrugunosa) - Clif Flycatcher

O Gibão-de-couro é mais um representante da família Tyrannidae, porém é a única espécie da sub-família Hirundineinae.

The Cliff Flycatcher is a species representative of the family Tyrannidae, and the only species of the subfamily Hirundineinae in Brazil.

Embora possa ser encontrado em cidades, seu habitat natural são paredões rochosos onde fazem seus ninhos  aproveitando aberturas existentes entre as rochas. O nome em ingles (Cliff Flycatcher) quando literalmente traduzido, Voador Apanhador dos Paredões, representa a sua grande habilidade em capturar insetos em vôos rápidos e precisos.  While it may be found in cities, its natural habitat are rocky cliffs where they nest in openings between the rocks. The name in English (Cliff Flycatcher) when literally translated to Portuguese, , represents his ability to catch insects in flight fast and whit accurate.
