Socozinho (Butorides striata) - Striated Heron

Embora o Socozinho (Butorides striata) que aparece nas fotos abaixo seja considerado pela literatura especializada como sendo de ocorrência comum, esta foi a primeira observação desta espécie no Clube Água Nova este ano.  É uma ave que apresenta um variado colorido, com estrias cor de "caramelo" no peito, fazendo na minha opinião uma bela figura.

Although the heron (Butorides striata), that appears in the photos below, is considered by the literature as being of common occurrence, this was the first observation of this species in New Water Club this year. It's a bird that has a varied colored, with streaks of color "caramel" in the chest, in my opinion making a beautiful picture.
