Pica Pau Carijó (Chrysoptilus melanochloros) - Green-Barred Woodpecker

Esta espécie não é muito comum na região. Provavelmente um macho, pois as fêmeas apresentam "bigode" com coloração preta. Alimentação: insetos, principalmente formigas, mas também alimenta-se com frutos.

This species is not very common in the region. Probably a male because the females have "mustache" with black coloring. Food: insects, especially ants, but also feeds on fruits.

Dieser Vogel ist nicht sehr häufig in der Region. Wahrscheinlich ein männchen, weil die weibchen "schnurrbart" mit schwarzer färbung haben. Nahrung: Insekten, vor allem ameisen, sondern auch ernährt sich von früchten.
